Welcome to “Approaches to Musical Ethnography” (ETH 480)! This WordPress site will serve as the digital home for our course. It will allow you to connect with each other outside of class and find support as you delve into the challenges and rewards of ethnographic musical research.

Under “Reading Responses,” you’ll find the relevant readings; you’ll also post your responses here. “Research Reflections” allows you to post thoughts, queries, and rants about your ethnographic research as it proceeds. (And in order to get started, you’ll need to log in at the bottom.)
